43 Student-Athletes On SEC Academic Honor Roll

ATHENS, Ga. --- A total of 43 University of Georgia freshman student-athletes were named to the 2010 Southeastern Conference Freshmen Academic Honor Roll, according to figures released by the league on Monday.

Requirements were that each student-athlete 1) have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above at the nominating institution; 2) be on scholarship or a letter winner; 3) have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at the nominating institution; and 4) have been a member of the varsity team for the sport's entire NCAA Championship segment.

The student-athletes honored for their accomplishments are:
