Eligibility - The Jim Ellis Georgia vs. Florida Getaway Weekend Contest (the "Giveaway") is open to residents of the state of Georgia who are 21 years or older and hold a valid Georgia drivers license at the time of entry. Employees of University of Georgia or Jim Ellis Auto Dealerships (together "sponsors") or any of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies, or other agents, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with such employees, are not eligible.
Entry - The giveaway entry period is from September 5, 2009 through October 26, 2009, using the following website: http://www.georgiadogs.com . Only one entry per person per entry period will be accepted. Mass entries using software generating automatic multiple entries will void those entries. The sponsors will not be responsible for incomplete or late entries or failure in receiving entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation malfunctioning of any network, hardware, or software, whether originating with sender or sponsors. In the event of a dispute, all entries will be deemed to have some from the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent. For these purposes, the ISP account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet Access Provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for the domain associated with such ISP account. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by the sponsors at their sole discretion, and the sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing ant aspect of the giveaway.
Winner Selection - Drawing to be held October 26, 2009. Sponsors will select one (1) Grand Prize Provisional winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries.
Prize Description: Odds - Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these official rules, the Grand Prize Winner will receive Two Tickets to the SEC Championship Game plus expenses to include airfare and accommodations. Value not to exceed $2000.00. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner Notification and acceptance - Winner will be notified by telephone after the drawing on October 26, 2009 If the sponsors are unable to reach the winner on the first attempt at the number provided on the winners official entry form, the winner may be disqualified, and at the sponsors discretion , a substitute winner may be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries. Sponsors are not obligated to call a winner more than one time, and are not obligated to leave a message. Winner may waive his/her right to receive a prize. Prizes are non assignable and non transferable. No substitutions are allowed, except that prizes and components of prizes are subject to availability, and sponsors reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. The winner is responsible on reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. The winner will also be required to complete an official affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and Publicity release (except where prohibited by law) Failure to sign and return the affidavit or release or to comply with any term or condition of these official rule, may, at the sponsors sole discretion result in a winners disqualification, the forfeiture of his of her interest in the prize, and award the prize to an alternate winner. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitute the winner's consent to publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation. Any prize not won and claimed by an eligible winner in accordance with these official rules will remain the property of the sponsors.
Participation - By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the sponsors and giveaway judges, which shall be final in all respects. The sponsors reserve the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise any aspect of this giveaway as solely determined by the sponsors. In the event the giveaway is compromised by tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of the sponsors which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the giveaway, the sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the giveaway. Should the giveaway be terminated prior to the published expiration date, the sponsors reserve the right to award prizes bases on the entries received before the termination date.
