Bulldogs Go Through Thursday Morning Workout

ATHENS, Ga. --- The Georgia Bulldogs returned to the practice fields on Thursday morning, working out for two hours as preparations continued for the upcoming AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl.
The Bulldogs will face Texas A&M on Monday, Dec. 28, in the bowl. Thursday marked the third bowl workout for the Bulldogs, who will work out four more times in Athens before reconvening in Shreveport, La., on Dec. 24.
"I thought today's practice was a little sluggish," said Georgia coach Mark Richt, whose team had ended Wednesday's practice approximately 15 hours earlier. "We installed more things today, and it was a typical install day. You get that sluggishness sometimes when you're hearing something for the first time or trying to run something for the first time. We'll hone it as we go."
Prince Miller, a Georgia cornerback and the newly named captain of the special teams, agreed with Richt's assessment.
"During the installation, mistakes are made and you correct them," Miller said. "That's the way it is with any game plan, even during the season. Everybody's practicing hard, and we'll keep coming together and getting better."
Georgia and Texas A&M will square off in the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl Dec. 28 at 5 p.m. Eastern. The game will be televised by ESPN2.
