Football

Georgia is heading into their final game of the regular season and they will face Georgia Tech in a "Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate" rivalry. Twice Georgia actually started their season against Georgia Tech, losing in 1893 but getting the win in 1900.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford had his best game as a professional racking up 422 passing yards and 5 TD passes including the game-winner against the Browns. He notched these milestone numbers in just his 8th career game.

Looking at the top 3 in the all-time list in passing yards and TD passes in the NFL and then look up how long it took those greats to reach these same milestones, you'll notice the former Bulldog accomplished the feat much quicker than the others.

Men's Basketball

Senior Ricky McPhee had his best game as a Georgia Bulldog, recording a career-high (at Georgia) 20 points on 8-for-9 shooting including 4-for-5 beyond the arc against UNC Asheville. He had three 20+ point games as a member of the Gardner Webb Bulldogs. This was the first of the four games that have appeared on McPhee's home court. Three of the four have happened against schools from North Carolina. Also, all four of these were in November including two on the same date, November 24.

Women's Basketball

This is the 13th season in which Andy Landers has led the Lady Bulldogs to wins in the season's first 4 games. He is the only women's basketball coach Georgia has ever had to lead the Dawgs to a 4-0 start. This is one of the four seasons in which Georgia has faced a ranked opponent in a 4-0 start as they defeated Oklahoma in this season's first game.
