Bulldogs In The NFL - Week 4

ATHENS-----A total of 21 former Bulldogs saw action in week four of the NFL season.  Among the top performers were Reggie Brown, who led Philadelphia with six catches for 79 yards, and Denver’s Boss Bailey, who was second on the team with eight tackles.

Champ Bailey, CB, Denver
Bailey started at cornerback and was third on the team with seven tackles and forced a fumble in the Broncos’ 33-19 loss at Kansas City.

Bailey started at linebacker and was second on the team with eight tackles and recovered a fumble in the Broncos’ 33-19 loss at Kansas City.

Reggie Brown, WR, Philadelphia
Brown led the team with six catches for 79 yards in the Eagles’ 24-20 loss at Chicago.

Chris Clemons, DE, Philadelphia
Clemons registered two tackles in the Eagles’ 24-20 loss at Chicago.

Nic Clemons, DE, Denver
Clemons recorded two tackles in the Broncos’ 33-19 loss at Kansas City.

Brandon Coutu, PK, Seattle
Coutu and the Seahawks were off in week four.

Thomas Davis, LB, Carolina
Davis started at linebacker and had five tackles including two for a loss in the Panthers’ 24-9 victory over Atlanta.

Demetric Evans, DE, Washington
Evans started a defensive end and had one tackle in the Redskins’ 26-24 win at Dallas.

Jason Ferguson, DT, Miami
Ferguson and the Dolphins were off in week four.

George Foster, OT, Detroit
Foster and the Lions were off in week four.

Robert Geathers, DE, Cincinnati
Geathers started at defensive end and had four tackles including one for a loss in the Bengals’ 20-12 loss to Cleveland.

Tony Gilbert, LB, Atlanta
Gilbert was not active in the Falcons’ 24-9 loss at Carolina.

Kedric Golston, DT, Washington
Golston started at defensive tackle but did not record any stats in the Redskins’ 26-24 win at Dallas.

Charles Grant, DE, New Orleans
Grant started at defensive end and recorded six tackles, four quarterback hurries and a
pass break-up in the Saints’ 31-17 win over San Francisco.

Marcus Howard, DE, Indianapolis
Howard was not active in the Colts’ 23-21 loss to Jacksonville.

Max Jean-Gilles, G, Philadelphia
Jean-Gilles started at right guard in the Eagles’ 24-20 loss at Chicago.

Jonas Jennings, OT, San Francisco
Jennings was not active in the 49ers’ 31-17 loss at New Orleans.

Tim Jennings, S, Indianapolis
Jennings recorded six tackles in the Colts’ 23-31 loss to Jacksonville.

Charles Johnson, DE, Carolina
Johnson played but did not record any stats in the Panthers’ 24-9 victory over Atlanta.

Sean Jones, FS, Cleveland
Jones will be out for several weeks after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery last week.

John Kasay, PK, Carolina
Kasay booted a 44-yard field goal and was perfect on all three PATs in the Panthers’ 24-9 victory over Atlanta.  He has connected on all eight field goal attempts in 2008.

Kregg Lumpkin, RB, Green Bay
Lumpkin was not active in the Packers’ 30-21 loss to Tampa Bay.

Randy McMichael, TE, St. Louis
McMichael started at tight end and had two catches for 26 yards in the Rams’ 31-14 loss to Buffalo.

Quentin Moses, LB, Miami
Moses and the Dolphins were off in week four.

Paul Oliver, CB, San Diego
Oliver was not active in the Chargers’ 28-18 win at Oakland.

Jermaine Phillips, S, Tampa Bay
Phillips started at safety and had two tackles and a fumble recovery in the Buccaneers’ 30-21 win over Green Bay.

Leonard Pope, TE, Arizona
Pope played but did not record any stats in the Cardinals’ 56-35 loss to the New York Jets.

Richard Seymour, DL, New England
Seymour and the Patriots were off in week four.

D.J. Shockley, QB, Atlanta
Shockley was not active in the Falcons’ 24-9 loss at Carolina.

Jon Stinchcomb, OT, New Orleans
Stinchcomb started at right tackle in the Saints’ 31-17 win over San Francisco.

Marcus Stroud, DT, Buffalo
Stroud started at defensive tackle and recorded two tackles in the Bills’ 31-14 win at St. Louis.

Hines Ward, WR, Pittsburgh
Ward had two catches for 57 yards in the Steelers’ 23-20 overtime win over Baltimore.

Danny Ware, RB, New York Giants
Ware and the Giants were off in week four.

Benjamin Watson, TE, New England
Watson and the Patriots were off in week four.

Will Witherspoon, LB, St. Louis
Witherspoon started at linebacker and was second on the team with five tackles in the Rams’ 31-14 loss to Buffalo.
