Questions and Answers
To whom will the cans/donations be given?
Each institution will give its collections to the food bank(s) it already supports.
What information will need to be provided to the SEC?
Each institution will give the SEC a list of its planned projects for broadcasting/publicity purposes, and a grand total of collections by Wednesday, October 1, 2008.
How will the total be reported to the SEC office?
Each institution will provide one number (in pounds) to the SEC office, understanding that food banks may vary in their calculation of cash collected to food weight.
Is there a winner?
No. This project is about collecting for those in need, and turning the initiative into a competition goes against that approach.
