Be sure to stop by the University Course while you are in Athens for home football games. The golf shop is well stocked with all of the best golf merchandise, as well as a wide selection of gameday golf shirts and hats. If you have time, play 9 or 18 holes on one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in Georgia. In an effort to give the course a little more bite’, the 2006 renovation added ten new championship tees, which now play at 7245 yards. Conversely, eleven new forward tees were also put in to accommodate shorter hitting players. Now the golf course is suitable for players of all abilities. New GPS units in all of the golf carts and handheld units for walkers help players learn the course faster and improve the pace of play.
