June 19, 2000 - Four Bulldogs named All-Americans. A school-record-tying four members of the Georgia men's golf team have been named All-Americans by Ping and the Golf Coaches Association of America.

June 19, 2006 - Sixth-ranked Georgia was eliminated from the College World Series falling to No. 4 Oregon State 5-3 in front of a crowd of 17,135 at Rosenblatt Stadium; however, the Bulldogs finished the 2006 season with a record of 47-23, which ties the second most wins in school history.
