| The Bulldog Cheerleading Experience The place to be this fall on Saturday afternoons is Athens, Georgia. There, "BETWEEN THE HEDGES," you will find the Georgia Cheerleaders cheering on the Dawgs in front of 92,000+ screaming fans! Our Cheerleaders also have the best seats in the house for UGA Men’s and Women’s Basketball games, UGA Volleyball matches and UGA Gym Dog Gymnastics meets! We want YOU to join us. Come find out why “IT’S GREAT TO BE A GEORGIA BULLDOG!” Click here to learn more! | |
| The Bulldog Dance Experience A tradition of excellence defines the UGA Dance Dawg program, supported by an extremely talented team of coaches and consisting of performers committed to excellence. Dedicated to dancing the Dawgs on to victory, these performers work extremely hard on and off the court. Performing for basketball games, gymnastics meets and other UGA and community events is both mentally and physically demanding. Our program outlines strict rules for academic and dance excellence to which all participants must adhere. Click here to learn more! | |
| The Georgia Bulldog: Uga Through the years, Uga has been defined by his spiked collar, a symbol of the position which he holds. He was given his name, an abbreviation for the university, by William Young of Columbus, a law school classmate of Seiler. Each of the Uga mascots is awarded a varsity letter in the form of a plaque, identical to those presented to all Bulldog athletes who letter in their respective sports. Click here to learn more! | |
| Redcoat Band The University of Georgia Redcoat Band is considered by many to be the "heart" of the Bulldog Spirit. This 380-member component of the School of Music was the recipient of the 2000 Sudler Trophy for musical and visual excellence and innovation over a period of many years. Interim Director of Bands, Dr. John Culvahouse, and Director of the Redcoat Band, Dr. David Romines lead the 101st edition of the band. Click here to learn more! |
