May 23, 2001 - The Georgia men's tennis team wins the program's fourth national title (second in the last three years) with a 4-1 win over Tennessee in the NCAA Championship at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

May 23, 2004 - Georgia Baseball clinches a share of the SEC Championship, becoming co-champs with Arkansas. The title was Georgia's fifth in school history and second in the last four years. The Bulldogs would go on to the College World Series and end up tied for third nationally at the end of the year.

May 23, 2006 - Harvey Humphries, a fixture in the Georgia swimming and diving program for more than three decades, has been promoted to associate head coach, according to an announcement made by head coach Jack Bauerle.
