May 18, 2002 - Georgia's record-setting softball season came to a close late Saturday night with losses to No. 1 UCLA and South Carolina in the NCAA tournament at Beckham Field in Columbia. Freshmen Kim Wendland and Michelle Green were named to the regional's All-Tournament team. The No. 25-ranked Bulldogs close out the 2002 campaign with a 59-17 overall record and the program's first trip to the NCAA tourney.
May 18, 2009 – Women’s tennis team reaches semi-finals of NCAA Championships.
