April 7, 1925 - The inaugural Georgia swimming team held the first practice in program history.

April 7, 2001 - The 2001 Georgia Gym Dogs won the Southeast Regional Championships to earn a bid to the NCAA tournament. Head coach Suzanne Yoculan was named Southeast Region Coach of the Year and gymnast Suzanne Sears was named Southeast Region Gymnast of the Year.

Arpil 7, 2003 - Swimming and diving coach Jack Bauerle and a trio of swimmers with ties to Georgia helped lead the United States to a 196-74 win against Australia in the inaugural Mutual of Omaha Duel in the Pool in Indianapolis. Bauerle served as the head coach for the U.S. women as the Americans won 21 of 26 events en route to victory.
