April 26, 1998 - Sophomore second baseman Lisa Schutt delivered a two-out, two-run single in the seventh inning to cap a 5-3 comeback win over Alabama in Georgia's first trip to the SEC Softball Tournament.

April 26, 2003 - UGA won the Southern Equestrian Championships.

April 26, 2007 -Georgia sophomore Courtney Kupets won her second straight National Individual All-Around title with a score of 39.750 at the NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships on Thursday at Utah’s Huntsman Center.

April 26, 2007 - Todd McCorkle and Taylor Leon were voted the Southeastern Conference's co-Coach and Player of the Year, respectively, in balloting by league coaches announced on Wednesday. In addition, Leon and Whitney Wade were tabbed first-team All-SEC and Alina Lee and Garrett Phillips were second-team All-SEC choices.

April 26, 2008 - Head coach Lu Harris-Champer posted her 400th win at the helm of the Georgia softball program, and the Bulldogs (41-19, 12-12 SEC) clinched a berth into the Southeastern Conference Tournament with a pair of victories, 10-0 and 7-4, over the Kentucky Wildcats.

April 26, 2008 - In the wake of leading the Georgia gymnastics team to a ninth NCAA title Friday night, head coach Suzanne Yoculan was named National Coach of the Year, the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women announced Saturday. And, a day after the Georgia gymnastics team won the program’s ninth national title, a pair of Gym Dogs in sophomores Grace Taylor and Courtney McCool claimed NCAA individual titles Saturday at Stegeman Coliseum.

April 26, 2009 -- Women's tennis wins third straight SEC Tournament title with 4-0 win over Tennessee; Sixth overall for the program and senior Monika Dancevic named Tournament MVP.
