April 25, 2003 - The gymnastics team finished third at the NCAA Championship.

April 25, 2008- The Georgia gymnastics team once again proved to be the best in the country as the Gym Dogs won their fourth straight national title (9th overall)  with a 197.450 Friday at the Super Six held at Stegeman Coliseum.

April 25, 2009- Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford became the fourth Bulldog player to be taken with the first overall pick of the annual NFL draft and the first in 56 years.

April 25, 2009 – UGA Softball star Alisa Goler’s home run against Tennessee set new single-season records for home runs, extra-base hits, and RBI.  She went on to finish with 24 home runs, 41 extra-base hits, and SEC record 83 RBI.
