April 24, 2008 - The Georgia gymnastics team finished first in the second preliminary session with a 197.625 Thursday to advance to the Super Six at the NCAA Gymnastics Championships held at Stegeman Coliseum.

April 24, 1987 - Georgia won its first NCAA gymnastics title with a shocking upset of five-time defending champion Utah on its home floor in Salt Lake City. The Bulldogs outscored the Utes 187.90-187.55.

April 24, 2004 - Georgia wins second straight Varsity National Equestrian Championship held at the Olympic Horse Park in Conyers.
