April 19, 2008 - Georgia claimed the third national Equestrian team title in school history when the Bulldogs took first place in the overall standings at the Varsity National Championships on Saturday in Waco, Texas.
April 19, 1998 - Freshman Reilly Rankin claimed medalist honors at the SEC Championships, becoming the second consecutive Georgia golfer (after Shauna Estes) to sweep the league's "triple crown." Rankin was also named Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year.
April 19, 2003 - Georgia coach Jeff Wallace notched career win number 400 as the seventh-ranked Bulldogs advanced to the SEC Women's Tennis Tournament final with a 4-1 win over 10th-ranked Kentucky Saturday.
April 19, 2009- The No. 1-ranked Georgia men's golf team claimed another SEC Championship on Sunday at Frederica Golf Club, running away from the field to win by 13 strokes.
April 19, 2009 -- Marta Silva Zamora fires and even-par 71 in the final round of the SEC Women's Golf Championship to capture the individual title by four strokes. Silva Zamora is Georgia's eighth SEC medalist in women's golf, tying UGA with Florida for the most conference champions.
