April 14, 1989 - The Georgia gymnastics team captured its second NCAA title in three years, winning on its home floor at the Georgia Coliseum with a score of 192.65 to UCLA's 192.60.

April 14, 2006 - Junior Jill Steffens topped her own No. 1 all-time mark in Georgia's record books in the 10,000-meter run after clocking a 34:25.25 at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif.

April 14, 2008 - Troyden Prinsloo, Neil Versfeld and Wendy Trott qualified for the Olympics based on their performances at the Telkom South African National Aquatics Championships.
