April 12, 1988 - The Georgia men's swimming and diving team made its first appearance at the NCAA Championships in over 20 years.

April 12, 2009 - The second-ranked Georgia womens tennis team clinched the 2009 Southeastern Conference title with a 5-2 win over 23rd-ranked Kentucky Sunday at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
