April 11, 1998 - Reilly Rankin and Shannon Ogg led the No. 5 Georgia women's golf team to a tournament record score of 289 at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic in Athens.

April 11, 2006 - Chris Colwill and Dan Laak were chosen as the Southeastern Conference Diver of the Year and Diving Coach of the Year, respectively, as the league office announced the 2006 men's swimming and diving awards.

April 11, 2009 - marked the first Georgia spring G-Day game nationally televised by ESPN who brought the game to a nationwide audience.
