March 6, 1994 - The Georgia women's tennis team won the USTA/ITA indoor title, the first national team championship in program history, with a 5-1 victory over Florida. The Lady Bulldogs won 21 of 24 matches during the event and were the first champion to never play a doubles match.

March 6, 2004 - Women's basketball team upsets No. 1 Tennessee in SEC Tournament.
