Does The Volleyball Team Do Any Community Service?

Thank you for your question. On March 3rd the team was invited to be Guest Readers for Barrow’s Elementary annual Dr. Seuss “Read Across America” Day. Members of the volleyball program read to 3rd, 4th and 5th graders from the Dr. Seuss collection as a celebration of reading.

“It was a joy to see our athletes interacting with the youth of the Athens community in this way. The spirit of the day was about having fun reading books and that message is a clear priority for Barrow Elementary and their curriculum. We appreciated the chance to be a part of this day and look forward to continual opportunities to interact with our community in this and many other ways.”
