March 4, 1999 - The fifth-ranked Georgia women's tennis team returned to Henry Field Stadium after three months of indoor play and swept Southeastern Conference opponent Auburn (2-7,0-5 SEC).

March 4, 2005 - Vince Dooley presented the Francis "Reds" Bagnell Award for contributions to the game of football during annual banquet of the Maxwell Club in Atlantic City, N.J. Also, at the same banquet, David Pollack was presented the Chuck Bednarik Award as the nation's outstanding defensive player.
