March 22, 1996 - Georgia swimmer Lisa Coole won the NCAA title in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54:21.

March 22, 1999 - Kelly Miller pours in a career-high 33 points and dishes out 10 assists to lead Georgia to an 89-71 win over Iowa State in the Mideast Regional Championship of the NCAA Tournament. In the process, Miller garners Regional Most Outstanding Player honors and helps the Lady Bulldogs reach the Final Four for the third time in five years.

March 22, 2004 - Former two-time All-America and Academic All-America football player Terry Hoage named as 2004 inductee into the CoSIDA Academic All-America Hall of Fame.
