March 21, 1985 - The Georgia women's basketball team defeated Jackie Joyner and No. 18 UCLA 78-42 at Pauley Pavilion in the semifinals of the NCAA West Regional.

March 21, 2009- Courtney Kupets, the SEC Gymnast of the Year, placed No. 1 in the all-around (with a 39.850) and on bars and beam, and is No. 2 on vault and floor in the SEC Championship. Women’sSwimming and Diving finishes 2nd at NCAA Championships.
