Mohamed Massaquoi


Mohamed Massaquoi is a junior Psychology major from Charlotte, North Carolina. Mohamed is a member of the UGA football team. He participated in “H.E.R.O. for a day” activities at Piedmont Park to benefit children affected by HIV/AIDS and has participated in visitation trips to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. He volunteers at Camp Sunshine and at local elementary schools. He has been honored as a member of the UGA Director’s Academic Roundtable and is a nominee for the UGA Dick Copas Leadership Award. Mohamed is the recipient of the James W. and Elizabeth Plant Football Scholarship

Career Highs: 6 receptions in four games, last at Georgia Tech in 2007; 108 yards vs. Auburn in 2005; long reception and long TD reception of 84 yards vs. Florida in 2007

*Had a team-best six receptions for 74 yards and a TD at Georgia Tech
*Led Bulldogs with four catches for 49 yards vs. Kentucky
*Made one catch, a 58-yard TD reception vs. No. 18 Auburn
*Two catches for 27 yards vs. Troy
*Recorded one reception, an 84-yard TD catch vs. No. 9 Florida *Had one catch for five yards at Vanderbilt *One reception for five yards at Tennessee *Made three catches for 29 yards and a TD vs. Ole Miss *Two receptions for 23 yards at No. 16 Alabama *Had team-best three receptions for 47 yards vs. W.
