February 28 1992 - Georgia swimming and diving coach Jack Bauerle was named SEC Men's Coach of the Year after guiding the Bulldogs to a second-place conference finish, their highest since 1967.

February 28, 1993 - Paced by four golfers finishing in the top 12, the Georgia men's golf team posted a 17-shot victory at the South Florida Invitational. Brian Slevin and Matt Street led the way with three-round scores of 220.
