February 26, 1997 - The Georgia men's basketball team beat Florida 88-76 in Gainesville to post the first back-to-back 20-win seasons in program history.

February 26, 2006 - Georgia won the first SEC women's indoor track & field team title in school history at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center in Gainesville, Fla. During the conference meet, senior Kierney Jackson (pole vault), junior Jennifer Dahlgren (weight throw), sophomore Natalie Picchetti (mile run) and freshman Levern Spencer (high jump) all claimed individual SEC wins. In addition, Spencer broke the SEC Indoor Track & Field Championships record as well as Georgia's record with a high jump mark of 6 feet, 2 inches.
