February 24, 2001 - The Georgia Women's Swimming and Diving team wins fifth straight SEC Championship title. The Lady Bulldogs become the first Georgia women's team to win five consecutive SEC titles and only the third team in school history. Head coach Jack Bauerle is named Women's SEC Coach of the Year for the fifth straight year.
February 24, 2001 - By winning the 200-yard butterfly at the 2001 SEC Championships, Keegan Walkley became the first swimmermale or femaleto win four consecutive SEC titles in that event.
February 24, 2003 - Glenn Lautzenhiser, Georgia's oldest living football letterman, passes away in Mississippi at the age of 96.
