Bulldogs In The NFL: Week 10

ATHENS, Ga. --- A total of 21 former Bulldogs saw action in week 10 of the NFL season.  Among the top performers were Pittsburgh’s Hines Wards, who hauled in nine catches for 116 yards, and Sean Jones, who had seven tackles for Cleveland.

Champ Bailey, CB, Denver
Bailey suffered a groin injury during week seven and is out for one month.

Reggie Brown, WR, Philadelphia
Brown had one catch for seven yards in the Eagles’ 36-31 loss to the New York Giants.

Chris Clemons, DE, Philadelphia
Clemons had one tackle in the Eagles’ 36-31 loss to the New York Giants.

Nic Clemons, DE, Denver
Clemons had one tackle in the Broncos’ 34-30 win over Cleveland.

Brandon Coutu, PK, Seattle
Coutu was not active in the Seahawks’ 21-19 loss at Miami.

Thomas Davis, LB, Carolina
Davis started at linebacker and was second on the team with 10 tackles in the Panthers’ 17-6 win at Oakland.

Demetric Evans, DE, Washington
Evans and the Redskins were off in week 10.

Jason Ferguson, DT, Miami
Ferguson started at defensive tackle but did not record any stats in the Dolphins’ 21-19 win over Seattle.

George Foster, OT, Detroit
Foster did not play in the Lions’ 38-14 loss to Jacksonville.

Robert Geathers, DE, Cincinnati
Geathers started at defensive end and had three tackles in the Bengals 21-19 win over Jacksonville.

Tony Gilbert, LB, Atlanta
Gilbert was not active in the Falcons’ 34-20 win over New Orleans.

Kedric Golston, DT, Washington
Golston and the Redskins were off in week 10.

Marcus Howard, DE, Indianapolis
Howard played but did not record any stats in the Colts’ 24-20 loss to Pittsburgh.

Max Jean-Gilles, G, Philadelphia
Jean-Gilles started at right guard in the Eagles’ 36-31 loss to the New York Giants.

Jonas Jennings, OT, San Francisco
Jennings did not play in the 49ers’ 29-24 loss at Arizona.

Tim Jennings, S, Indianapolis
Jennings started at left cornerback and had seven tackles and an interception in the Colts’ 24-20 win at Pittsburgh.

Charles Johnson, DE, Carolina
Johnson had one tackle in the Panthers’ 17-6 win at Oakland.

Sean Jones, FS, Cleveland
Jones started at safety and was second on the team with eight tackles in the Browns’ 34-30 loss to Denver.

John Kasay, PK, Carolina
Kasay kicked a 32-yard field goal in the Panthers’ 17-6 win at Oakland.

Quentin Moses, LB, Miami
Moses played but did not record any stats in the Dolphins’ 21-19 win over Seattle.

Paul Oliver, CB, San Diego
Oliver had two tackles in the Chargers’ 20-19 win over Kansas City.

Jermaine Phillips, S, Tampa Bay
Phillips and the Buccaneers were off in week 10.

Benjamin Watson, TE, New England
Watson had one catch for seven yards in the Patriots’ 20-10 win over Buffalo.

Will Witherspoon, LB, St. Louis
Witherspoon started at middle linebacker and had seven tackles in the Rams’ 47-3 loss to the New York Jets.
