January 27, 1996 - The Bulldog tennis duo of Steven Baldas and Jamie Laschinger won the doubles title at the SEC Indoor Championships.

January 27, 2007 - Patricia Sylvester, who was the 2005 SEC high jump champion, soared 44 feet, 7 1/2 inches to break Georgia's indoor triple jump record by 7 inches at the Diet Pepsi Invitational in Gainesville, Fla. Sylvester's mark was the No. 1 mark in the nation throughout the 2007 regular season.

January 27, 1997 - Georgia's Eddie Jacques won the SEC Indoor Championships singles title while teammates Steven Baldas and Rafael Jordan captured the doubles crown.
