Getting To Know Volleyball Student-Athlete Alexis Morgan

Question: What is it that attracted you to Georgia?
Answer: The campus and the atmosphere. It was so welcoming.
Q: What do you like most about the city of Athens?
A: The Georgia spirit. Everyone is so proud of this school and wants to be here. Game day is the best.
Q: What is your favorite thing about the sport of volleyball?
A: Defense
Q: What is your earliest volleyball memory?
A: My mom sending my friend and me to volleyball camp in fifth grade
Q: What volleyball memory stands out the most for you?
A: Playing in the AAU Club Tournament in Orlando during my junior year of high school/club
Q: If you could play any other sport in college, what would it be?
A: Soccer
Q: What is the best part of being a collegiate student-athlete?
A: Getting to know people from so many different places. As a student-athlete, you get a whole different view of Georgia.
Q: What are some of your favorite things to do in your spare time when you are not playing volleyball?
A: Bake and scrapbook
Q: What celebrity would you most like to meet?
A: Morris Chestnut
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: Ever After
Q: What is your favorite sports movie?
A: Remember the Titans, Coach Carter
Q: Do you have a favorite food or meal?
A: Chocolate cake
Q: What is your favorite holiday?
A: Christmas/Valentine's Day. Really, I love all holidays because I get to decorate.
Q: What would be your dream job?
A: Something that has to do with sports where I can meet people and not be stuck in an office all day; and it has to have event planning in it, too.
Q: Do you have a nickname on team?
A: Doxy
