June 07, 2007 | Men's Golf
ATHENS, Ga. The Chris Haack Bulldog Golf Camp will be held in two sessions beginning on Friday.
The purpose of the Chris Haack Bulldog Golf Camp is to provide each camper with the basic and advanced techniques of competitive golf while still having fun. Campers will learn from some of the Bulldog players and other college coaches what it takes to be a golfer in a top collegiate program.
Campers will be using the practice facilities and locker rooms of the 1999 and 2005 NCAA National Champion Bulldogs.
The first session will be held Friday through Monday, followed by the second session Tuesday through Friday.
Campers will learn fundamentals, attend clinics and play nine and 18 holes of golf at the UGA Golf Course. Campers, ranging in ages from 10 to 18, will be organized by age and ability levels for more effective instruction.
Campers get the unique opportunity to use the $1.4 million state-of-the-art practice complex that was built exclusively for the University of Georgia golf teams.
