Softball Camp Scheduled For Two June Sessions

ATHENS, Ga. --- Lu Harris-Champer's Georgia Bulldog Softball Camp will hold two sessions in June for girls between the ages of 8-18.
Offered will be both overnight and day camps which provide a great opportunity for young girls to advance their skills by working with several Georgia softball players as well as the Bulldog coaching staff.
The goal of Georgia Softball camps is to assist each camper in her pursuit of reaching her highest level of ability. The coaching staff is committed to each camper leaving with the feeling that she has bettered herself and her softball skills by participating in the camp.
All camps are limited to 150 campers to help insure our goal ratio of 10:1 campers to coaches. All camps are designed to have the best coach-player ratio of any softball camp in operation.
Session I: June 10th to 14th, 2007
Ages 8-18
Cost: $450 overnight; $350 day camper
Session II: June 17th to 21st, 2007
Ages 8-18
Cost: $450 overnight; $350 day camper
Facilities: All camp activities will take place at either the Women’s
Athletic Complex located on S. Milledge Ave., the home of Bulldog softball, or on the University’s Intramural Fields. Campers will have access to the stadium, batting cages / bullpen areas in right field and left field territories, locker room, video assessment center, and the indoor training facility (ITF). A certified athletic trainer will be present as well as the use of the athletic training facility in case of injury or illness. Ice and water will be provided. Resident campers will lodge in dorm rooms on campus.
Meals will be provided. Transportation to and from the softball facility will be provided.
