Georgia Tennis To Host NCAA First And Second Rounds
The No. 1-ranked University of Georgia men's tennis team and the No. 2-ranked UGA women's tennis teams both were announced as first and second round hosts by the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Subcommittee Tuesday afternoon. First and second round action for both teams will be held May 11-13 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. The men's team is the overall No. 1 seed in its tournament while the women are the overall No. 2 seed.

Georgia Men's Tennis Begins NCAA Tournament Friday
The No. 1-ranked Georgia men’s tennis team (26-0) will take on Fairleigh Dickinson University (12-10) in the first round of the 2007 NCAA Tournament Friday at 4 p.m. at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. That match will be preceded by a 1 p.m. matchup between Auburn and Georgia State at 1 p.m. in other first-round action being played in Athens.

Balanced Bulldogs Begin NCAA Competition At Central Regional
The No. 3-ranked Georgia women’s golf team opens NCAA play this weekend at the Central Regional in Ann Arbor, Mich. The Bulldogs are the top seed in the 21-team field, fighting for one of eight spots to advance to the NCAA Championships in Daytona Beach, Fla., week after next.

Georgia Softball Travels to Auburn for SEC Tournament
The Georgia Bulldogs (43-25, 13-15 SEC) return to action this week when they travel to Auburn University for the 2007 Southeastern Conference Softball Tournament. Georgia opens first round action on Thursday, May 10, at 12:00 noon EDT, as the No. 6 seed against the No. 3-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide (50-6, 21-6 SEC).

Georgia’s Dennis Felton Selected for USO Tour
University of Georgia basketball coach Dennis Felton is one of six NCAA Division I coaches that have been selected to participate in the fourth annual “Operation Hardwood,” a six-day visit this month to U.S. military bases in the Persian Gulf region.

Gym Dogs Celebrate Championship Season
Georgia’s national champion Gym Dogs celebrated a third consecutive NCAA title with their annual season-ending banquet on Tuesday at the Tate Student Center on campus.

Georgia Gunning For Second Straight SEC Track & Field Title
Georgia's track and field teams will be competing at the Southeastern Conference Outdoor Championships in Tuscaloosa, Ala., from Thursday to Sunday (May 10-13).

Bauerle, Swimming Officials Travel To China
Georgia head swimming coach Jack Bauerle is in China this week on a fact-finding trip in advance of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

Todd Named Finalist For Byron Nelson Award
Georgia golfer Brendon Todd has been chosen as one of the five national finalists for the Byron Nelson Award, the Golf Coaches Association announced on Wednesday.

Georgia's Middleton Named to SEC Good Works Team
University of Georgia senior outfielder Kellie Middleton has been named to the Southeastern Conference Good Works Softball Team, the league announced Tuesday. The SEC Good Works team looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to her community in superior service efforts.

Summer Camp Information

The University of Georgia will play host to the 2007 NCAA Men's and Women's Tennis Championships, May 17-28.

NCAA TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS TICKETS
ON SALE NOW!
The University of Georgia will be hosting the 2007 NCAA Men's & Women's Tennis Championships at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex May 17-28. All-session ticket packages are now on sale and can be purchased online www.georgiadogs.com or by calling the Athletic Association's ticket office at 1-877-542-1231 during the week between the hours of 8:30 am-4:30 pm.

Adult Grandstand tickets are $100 and Youth Grandstand tickets are $55. These tickets are good for all sessions and action played on the main Stadium Courts and McWhorter Courts.

Also, a limited amount of all-session passes are still available in the Robert H. West Pavilion located between courts 3 and 4. This package is $125 and features chairback seating on the court level.

2008 NCAA GYMNASTICS CHAMPIONSHIPS TICKETS ON SALE NOW!
All-session tickets for the 2008 NCAA Gymnastics Championships to be held April 24-26, 2008 at Stegeman Coliseum are on sale now. All-session ticket prices are $55 (adults) and $35 (youth - high school age and younger) and can be ordered online at www.georgiadogs.com.

Ticket allocation will be based on Gymnastics Enhancement Fund(GEF) priority first and then all other orders will be filled based on the date they are received. Due to NCAA Championship policies, no season ticket holder will be able to have their same seat for the Championships as they have for the regular season meets. All NCAA Gymnastics Championships tickets will be distributed the week of April 1, 2008.

At this time, only the NCAA Championship tickets will go on sale. 2008 Gymdogs season tickets will go on sale beginning in October.
