Georgia's Middleton Named First Team All-SEC

Senior outfielder leads Georgia with a .383 batting average
AUBURN, Ala. Georgia outfielder Kellie Middleton was named First Team All-SEC at the SEC Softball Tournament Banquet Wednesday evening.
Middleton earned First Team accolades after posting a team-high .383 batting average with 15 doubles, five triples, five home runs, 42 RBI, and 44 stolen bases. The right-hander currently leads in the conference in hits (80), and ranks second in doubles, triples, and stolen bases. She also ranks third in total bases (120), fourth in runs (48), seventh in on base percentage (.465), ninth in RBI, and tenth in batting average.
Georgia opens first round action of the SEC Tournament on Thursday at
noon EDT, as the No. 6 seed against the No. 3-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide.
