Key Quote:
Georgia Head Coach Tony Baldwin
On both games today…
"It was a long, hard-fought day. I thought in that first game we strung together some good at-bats. Shorty [Jaydyn Goodwin] had a really good day, and I thought Gabi [Novickas] was really good all day having competitive at-bats. At the end of the day, it was a hard-fought game that we came up one run short there in the second, but I'm proud of the way that we fought. I feel like we're a better team at the end of the weekend than we were when we started, and these kinds of matchups that you just keep being in dogfights with, they help you when it comes down to the end as long as you stay together and you keep growing and you keep learning. I think we, as coaches, know more about our team today than we did going into the weekend. Excited to get back, have a good Easter, rest up, and put together another good week."
