Kupets Wins Second Straight NCAA All-Around TItle

SALT LAKE CITY --- Georgia sophomore Courtney Kupets won her second straight National Individual All-Around title with a score of 39.750 at the NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships on Thursday at Utah’s Huntsman Center.

Her first session score held up through the second session, making Kupets just the second Gym Dog to win multiple NCAA All-Around Championships. Kim Arnold also did so in 1997-98. In all, four other gymnasts have accomplished that feat since 1982 with Arnold representing the last to do so.

Kupets notched three marks of 9.950 on floor, vault and bars and a 9.900 on beam. Her total of 39.750 tied the mark she recorded to win last year's title.
