UGA Student-Athletes To Discuss Helmet Safety

ATHENS, Ga. University of Georgia student-athletes will be visiting local schools next week to talk with students about the importance of wearing helmets during recreational events and athletic competitions.
The program is in association with Twilight Criterium pro riders and St. Mary's Hospital Neuroscience Center. The riders will speak on safety, nutrition, and health. UGA student-athletes will speak on the importance of wearing helmets, safety, and staying in shape.
On Monday, Allie Hush from equestrian and former softball player Ashley Godfrey will go to Chase Street Elementary. Tuesday, football players Kelin Johnson and Mohamed Massaquoi will travel to Barrow Elementary. Softball players Kellie Middleton and Megan McAllister will head to Fowler Drive Elementary and Johnson will go to Clarke Middle School on Wednesday. Oglethorpe County will host softball player Courtney Knight and former football player Bryan McClendon on Thursday.
