Gym Dogs Travel West For Regional Action

Georgia will be looking to qualify to the NCAA Championships for the 24th consecutive year when the team travels to Denver for the North Central Regional. The Gym Dogs have won 18 regional titles including a home victory last season.

Georgia-Western Carolina Baseball Game Postponed- The Georgia-Western Carolina baseball game scheduled for Wednesday, April 11th has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 25th in Cullowhee, N.C., with the first pitch set for 7 p.m. Game Notes


Athletic Association Observes Mission Renewal Day

More than 150 University of Georgia Athletic Association coaches and staff members spread out around Athens and Clarke County Monday, April 9, conducting community service projects as part of the Association's annual Mission Renewal Day.

Stafford, Moreno Pace Red Team To 34-21 Victory

Matthew Stafford threw two touchdown passes and Knowshon Moreno rushed for two scores to lead the Red Team to a 34-21 victory over the Black Team in Georgia’s annual G-Day Game Saturdayat Sanford Stadium.

Georgia Men's Tennis Claims 2007 SEC Championship
The No. 1-ranked Georgia men’s tennis team (21-0, 10-0 SEC) clinched its second consecutive Southeastern Conference regular-season championship Sunday in Athens as the Bulldogs took down Ole Miss (19-3, 8-2) by a 5-2 score.

Men's Tennis Match Against Tennessee Moved To Saturday
The University of Georgia men’s tennis team (21-0, 10-0) has announced a change to its final match of the regular season against Tennessee.
The Georgia vs. Baylor match is scheduled for Thursday, April 12, 5:00 p.m.

NCAA TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS TICKETS

The University of Georgia will be hosting the 2007 NCAA Men’s & Women’s Tennis Championships at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex May 17-28. All-session ticket packages are now on sale and can be purchased online www.georgiadogs.com or by calling the Athletic Association’s ticket office at 1-877-542-1231 during the week between the hours of 8:30 am-4:30 pm.

Adult Grandstand tickets are $100 and Youth Grandstand tickets are $55. These tickets are good for all sessions and action played on the main Stadium Courts and McWhorter Courts.

Also, a limited amount of all-session passes are still available in the Robert H. West Pavilion located between courts 3 and 4. This package is $125 and features chairback seating on the court level.
