Equestrian Alumni Challenge To Follow Saturday's Meet

ATHENS, Ga. --- The University of Georgia equestrian team will hold its third annual Alumni Challenge immediately following Saturday’s English matchup with Southern Methodist.

“This is such a great event,” said assistant coach Carly Veldman, who has volunteered to captain the alumni team. “The current riders have been practicing real hard for competition and now have the chance to let loose. This also gives alumni the chance to come back and ride again. It is really fun and gets really competitive.”

Joining Veldman on the alumni squad will be Sheri Abrams, Jessica Whittmeyer, Elizabeth Bradley, Cherie Rector and Nick Carden.
