Dooley, Yoculan Receive Two Top Awards

Frank Ros pictured with Coach ATHENS, Ga. --- Former University of Georgia football coach and director of athletics Vince Dooley and current UGA gymnastics coach Suzanne Yoculan received two of the top awards at the annual Atlanta Sports Awards banquet on Thursday night at the Fox Theatre.

| Also, the 2006 Georgia gymnastics team, which finished its season at 36-0, was named Team of the Year. UGA Basketball player Tasha Humphrey and gymnast Courtney Kupets were finalists for Collegiate Athlete of the Year. Winners were determined by a vote of the Atlanta Sports Awards Voting Academy, whose members consist of local sports media, athletic administrators and corporate leaders. | |
