December 1, 2008 - The University of Georgia Athletic Association signed a contract to purchase an existing horse farm near Athens that will soon serve as the permanent home for the Bulldogs’ national champion Equestrian team.

December 1, 2008- Angel Robinson scored 19 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Georgia (6-1) to a 77-57 victory over East Tennessee State (1-4) on Monday night, making the Lady Bulldogs the 10th NCAA Division I program to secure 750 all-time victories.  

December 1, 1978 - Freshman quarterback Buck Belue's 42-yard TD pass to Amp Arnold with 2:24 remaining led Georgia to a 29-28 victory over Georgia Tech.
