November 8, 1980 - Georgia's undefeated season appeared lost as the Bulldogs trailed Florida 21-19 with 1:35 remaining and faced third down on their own seven yard line. Quarterback Buck Belue rolled to his right and found Lindsay Scott, who eluded several tacklers and hit the sideline for a 93-yard TD on one of the greatest plays in college football history. The win elevated Georgia to No. 1 on its way to the national title.

November 8, 1996 - Mandy Aiken recorded the first hat-trick in school history as the UGA women's soccer team won its first SEC Tournament game against Alabama, 3-2. Mandy's outstanding hat-trick was also the first in SEC Tournament history.
