November 20, 2007 | Men's Basketball
ATHENS, Ga. --- The suspension of Georgia basketball player Billy Humphrey has been lifted by the UGA Athletic Assocation, and the junior guard has been reinstated to competition by head coach Dennis Felton. He will be available to play in the Bulldogs home game tonight against Elon.
Humphrey, a junior from Dacula, Ga., started and scored 13 points in Georgias season-opening 107-65 win over Jacksonville State on Nov. 9. He was suspended indefinitely on Nov. 14 in compliance with Athletic Association policy and missed one game, an 83-70 win over Grambling State last week.
