October 13, 1979 - Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Sanford Stadium , the UGA football team knocked off the #13 LSU Tigers. The defense played an outstanding game leading the Dawgs to victory, 21-14.

October 13, 1984 - Georgia cornerback Kevin Harris broke up a pass in the end zone late in the fourth quarter to secure an 18-12 victory over Ole Miss. Tailback Cleveland Gary's six-yard TD run with 8:45 remaining provided the margin of victory.

October 13, 1995 - UGA Women’s Volleyball spiked the Kentucky Wildcats, 3-0, in a record setting day. Hadli Anstine topped the school’s career block record (135) and total blocks (340). Kristy Johnson put up a UGA record of 84 assists in one game.

October 13, 2007 - Kicker Brandon Coutu hit a 37-yard field goal as time expired to lift Georgia to a 20-17 win over Vanderbilt on Saturday at Vanderbilt Stadium.
