September 30, 1967 - Kent Lawrence's 14-yard dash into the end zone with 9:35 to go provided the margin of victory as Georgia beat Clemson 24-17 in Death Valley.
September 30, 2007 - The University of Georgia soccer team (9-1-0, 2-0-0) defeated #12-ranked South Carolina (8-3-0, 0-2-0) in double overtime in Athens Sunday, completing one of the biggest two-win weekends in school history. Sunday’s victory follows Georgia’s 2-1 win over #15-ranked Florida on Friday, the Bulldogs’ first-ever win over the Gators. The two wins mark the first time Georgia has ever beaten back-to-back Top-15 ranked opponents. Georgia is now 9-1 for the first time in team history.
