First Friday Pep Rally

Friday, September 1 @ Stegeman Coliseum
Doors Open: 5:00pm; Event: 5:30pm-7:00pm
First 1,000 fans receive a free t-shirt

The University of Georgia Alumni Association will host its annual “First Friday” pep rally featuring the 2006 Georgia football team, on September 1, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Stegeman Coliseum. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Admission is free.

In addition to the Bulldog football team, additional guests scheduled to appear include UGA Athletic Director Damon Evans and head football coach Mark Richt along with UGA Alumni Association President Swann Seiler, Uga VI, Hairy Dawg, Georgia cheerleaders, Derbies Flagline, Feature Twirlers, the
Georgettes and the Majorettes.

Friday, September 1 vs. BYU @ 7:00pm

• FREE UGA Soccer Ringer T-Shirts to the First 250 UGA Students (must show UGA ID Card)

Saturday, September 2 vs. Western Kentucky @ 12:30pm
The Saturday, Sept. 2, football game between Georgia and Western Kentucky in Athens will be televised by Lincoln Financial Sports
(formerly Jefferson Pilot Sports). Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. ET. Broadcast team for the game will be Dave Neal (play-by-play), Dave Rowe (color analyst), and Dave Baker (sideline).
* First 25,000 fans in attendance will receive a I’m Georgia Spirit Towel (the official spirit towel of Sanford Stadium and the Georgia Bulldogs!)

Updated Parking Information
(The following information is an update to information that was printed earlier in the Fan Guide)
New shuttle Information…. The shuttle for UGA Fans attending Georgia football games will start from the IM Fields and pick up at the Ramsey Center on the way to the stadium, with the drop-off at Gate 6. If buses fill up at the IM Fields, empty buses will be sent to the Ramsey Center to alleviate crowds. Following the game, buses will load at Gate 6 and will either go to the IM Fields or to the Ramsey Center. Fans will need to watch for the bus they want to take.
