Note To Gridiron For Gals Alumni:
When the Georgia football staff took over this course of study, the name was changed to "Football 101 For Women." We were not able to obtain a roster of attendees who participated in the first two classes of "Gridiron For Gals." We had no mailing list to mail out and invite former members of the class. We apologize if these alumni could not get into the class of 2005. It simply filled up too fast. We now keep a roster of all who attended and keep our mailing list up to date. (So you know as of August 23, 2006 we have received 171 applications for the 2007 session. This even will quickly fill up so don't delay in sending in your application).
Note to 2006 Football 101 For Women Attendees:
We talked about subjects for the 2007 classes and have come up with a program you will enjoy. You pick the side of the ball you want to learn about...Offense or Defense. You will spend all day studying your choice and on the field you'll put into play what you have learned. Is it Mark Richt's explosive offense that grabs you or is it Willie Martinez's hard stopping defense that wets your appetite for the game of football. (Coach Martinez promises he will try not to make anyone cry during his sessions).
Fill out the enclosed registration form and mail your tuition (cost $135.00, make checks payable to "Football 101 For Women") to Football 101 For Women, c/o Ann Hunt, 1 Selig Circle, Athens, GA 30602. For more information, feel free to call the football office at (706) 542-1515.
