Georgia Volleyball Continues Preparations For 2006 Season

Bulldogs face three teams at Georgia Invite Aug. 25-26

ATHENS, Ga. --- The Georgia volleyball team is just under a month away from starting its 2006 campaign with 15 home games scheduled.

After the Bulldogs host their alumni game at the Ramsey Center on Sunday, Aug. 20, Georgia welcomes three teams to Athens for the Georgia
Invite. Georgia plays UAB on Aug. 25 and takes on Morehead State and Coastal Carolina on Aug. 26. The Bulldogs' first Southeastern Conference
home game is versus Florida on Sept. 15.

For now, the Bulldogs continue to go through strength and conditioning exercises three mornings out of every week with assistant
strength and conditioning coach Mike Schweigert to prepare for the 2006 season.
