Georgia Track & Field Hosting Alumni May 6th

ATHENS, Ga. -- Georgia's track and field teams are hosting a free reception for all alumni of the Bulldog program after the Georgia Invitational on Saturday, May 6th, approximately one hour after the meet's conclusion.

The reception will honor all former Bulldog track and field athletes in the Callaway Room of the Rankin Smith Student-Athlete Academic Center. Saturday's first event (men's hammer) is scheduled for 9 a.m. and the men's 3000-meter run jump-starts the running events at 12:15 p.m.

Organizers of the reception will provide heavy hor'dourves as well as a brief program, an introduction of the athletes present and time for socializing.
